Question mark appears on my Brother printer
Issue:
After the ink cartridge is placed, the printer shows a question mark on the ink level of the newly installed ink cartridges.
Solution:
In this case, we have no solution other than for you to ignore the message.
Some of our cartridges such as LC3013 will not display your ink levels correctly. It may pop a "question mark" in place of the ink level. You can ignore that error message and continue printing like normal. This will usually happen to all other third party ink cartridges as well since we all get our chips from the same source.
The original printer manufacturer makes tracking of ink levels nearly impossible for our chips so that you're stuck with expensive cartridges.
We find that storing some extra ink cartridges at all time is the best way to prevent running out of ink. Especially considering how much you can save with our ink cartridges. The savings will offset the extra set of backups.
