Installation Chips on compatible TN-227, TN-223
Step 1. Prepare the toners and one flathead screwdriver.
Step 2. Locate the screw as below diagram and unscrew it
Step 3. After removing the screw, push and remove the plastic brackets that contain the IC chip off the used toner unit.
Step 4. Remove the IC chip from the plastic bracket of used toner unit, remove the plastic brackets off the new toner.
Step 5. Reinstall the IC chip in the new toner plastic bracket and then reinstall the IC chip module on the new toner unit.
Step 6. Hand tight the screw and check the IC chip hold securely on the new toner.
